the best kind of friends

i can't believe i haven't written about one of our favorite parts of oregon. when we were in dental school we made some good friends. some really good friends. lucky for us, they moved to oregon two years ago, so it was like insta-friends when we got here. plus we've added a few more kids since then.

remember these guys?





our summers have been busy but we've squeezed in some zoo time, swimming lessons, bike riding, and dinner together. we can't wait for all the oregon fun we'll have.



dont mind liz and i. we're just trying to secure a romance between one of our girls and boys so we can somehow be related. we have good odds.

the best part of swim lessons was the seal slide at the end.

we're pretty sure calvin & soph learned absolutely nothing from these swim lessons except for how to keep warm while freezing on the wall. at least we got to talk every morning for two weeks!

yes, we made sure to stop by nordstrom and pick up some balloons to make our pictures that much better. Ü

back together again. just the way we like it.
