love this girl. we have been friends with her family forever, and i was actually friends with her older sisters and didn't know her very well. so glad i got to spend some time "on the farm" with her. she's totally adorable, like you couldn't tell from these pics! happy senior year.

yes, it's true. i'm finally done editing wedding pictures. they've only been married for 70 days so no pressure. something i learned... it's really hard to be the wedding photographer and a bridesmaid and see a bunch of people you know at the reception who you talk to and forget to be a good photographer. but of course i would do it again for allie in a heartbeat. thanks for choosing me al.

happy september

oh september. you are my favorite month of the year (although this year i'm not even close to being sick of summer yet since we live in oregon now). you're a fresh start to a new school year, which sophie gets to enjoy now! you hold the first day of fall, which is usually our anniversary, and also my favorite season. the weather gets a little cooler and the boots and sweaters come out, but not too cold for a winter coat yet. there really is just so much to love about you september.

i'm going to celebrate it by sharing some pictures of our new nephew spencer. he was born in july and we've been back twice since. i don't think i can stay away from him very long, and i always hog him when we're there. there being washington... they just started medical school and we're so excited they're so close! especially because we had to leave these dudes in new england. he's the sweetest baby ever.
