new favs

we have a couple new favs around here.

for soph:

the tink fort.

thanks to great-grandma dode's birthday money. and i owe her big. it was full entertainment for both girls for TWO days. i filled it with snacks and books and pillows and didn't see them for hours. imagine that.
see the legs a-swingin'?



it does take up most of my 150 square foot living room... but i consider it worth it.



and for p-diddy:

corn.
(she's my easy-to-please child)

she saw it at the dinner table and the legs started kicking. just couldn't contain her excitement.

and this is her shy girl, "oh i'm so happy i could die" expression. toes pointed. my personal fav.



straight up lovin' it. ate the whole cob herself.



and...

SHE WALKS!

all the way across the room tonight. still a little shaky, but can stand right back up and keep goin. she closes her eyes right before she falls, it's so cute. just in time for her big day on friday. do you think i caught it on camera? no... what's with the second child getting video gipped at our house? i'll be better.
