mom's visit, part two

can you tell what kind of beautiful day it was?

Photobucket

after stopping at the $2 t-shirt shop (yeah!) we took my parents to lighthouse beach in chatham. simply perfect.

Photobucket

there might have been some serious wave chasing by soph and drampa rob.

Photobucket

Photobucket

and bobo (soph's name for my mom)

Photobucket

aren't my parents cute?

Photobucket

we shell hunted hard. why is that so addicting?
(jennie i totally get it now...)

Photobucket

there was sand castle building, complete with moat.

Photobucket

and if there is a body of water around, you will find sophie throwing something into it.

Photobucket

oh us! landen loves this picture because of his mop. pretty sure he got a haircut like the next day.

Photobucket

and then pipey woke up! (she was up snoozing in the car with landen)

Photobucket

and got her first taste of sand...

Photobucket

almost literally...

Photobucket

until dad put a stop to it. (she's even cute sad)

Photobucket

don't worry, i loved her right after.

Photobucket

people around us were ooo-ing and ahh-ing over "baby's first day at the beach." probably because of both cameras clicking away. gotta love it.

Photobucket

i think she liked it.

Photobucket

and i know she did.

Photobucket

and apparently i did with all the pictures i ended up in.

Photobucket

we had dinner in orleans after a little walk around the town. i'm so in love with the cape, glad we could share it with the fam!

back at home, a little dress-up time with bobo.

Photobucket

my cool texting parents.

Photobucket

after church we said our goodbyes. it's always hard for soph after lots of fun bobo & drampa time.

Photobucket

we had the best time mom & dad! thanks for spending a birthday weekend with us. but most importantly- thanks for brining me a new brick of tillamook cheese.

happy 50 mom.
