we're home! soph and i took a little 10-day-get-away to visit my family in oregon. it was much needed, much appreciated, and much enjoyed! thanks so much mom & dad! and of course brook... AND allie! she drove 12 hours from utah to visit us over the weekend. we missed you kyle.
i have tons of pictures to go through and edit from our trip. we really had too much fun, but it's so good to be home again in our own beds and with our landen! he keeps saying, it's so nice not having it "quiet" anymore.
sophie was ready on day 7 to come home. she would stand by the door at my parent's house and say "home! home!" so when the third plane (yes we had 2 layovers... we visited all 4 time zones yesterday!) landed she said "all done! all done! all done!" she was a good little traveler. but don't let that fool you... she absolutely adored my family. every morning she would wake up and ask for "papa" (my dad) or "mow mow mow" (the kitty). we were completely spoiled and miss everyone so much already!
now back to life right? my to-do list is growing longer by the minute. but my laundry is done and i'm all unpacked... which says a lot if you know me and how much i loathe unpacking. and soph is definitely ready for some friends her age.

Welcome home! And I agree that Southwest would be lucky to BUY that picture from you! Don't forget to embed your logo all over it before sending it off!
i am impressed that you're already unpacked and doing laundry! it takes me at least several days to get to that...nice work!

um yeah i was just cleaning our bedroom and realized that i haven't even fully unpacked our suitcase from disneyland...remember, that was um...like 3 weeks ago? i told you i'm bad...i forgot about it underneath the pile of all the other junk in here! :)

We LOVED having you!! And miss you desperately! It was WAY, WAY, WAY too quiet here on Tuesday evening. Then Wednesday came and I was all alone! I miss all my hugs and slobbery kisses!
