movie night

i declared it junk food movie night at our house on saturday night. after a fun day of birthday shopping (well i don't know how fun it was for landen... but he was extremely supportive of the maternity clothes movement) we went to get some snacks for our movie! landen decided he wasn't into the whole junk food thing so his item was strawberry milk. how exciting! yes i made fun of him... that's not even junk food! don't worry- i bought candy and made popcorn, it wasn't a complete loss. Ü we made a blanket bed on our living room floor and watched x-men 3. i even stayed awake until midnight, an absolute miracle these days!

sunday we went to ryan & sarah's (landen's sister) for birthday dinner in west jordan. we had a super yummy dinner and amazing dessert- brownies with ice cream and homemade hot fudge- oh yum! after the tucanos friday, movie night saturday, and birthday dinner sunday, i enjoyed my second round of heartburn this pregnancy. it wasn't too bad because the food was so worth it! i'm learning to pop those tums!

i had another dr.'s appointment today. he said everything looks super and i won't be having any 8 pound babies soon! that really puts my heart at ease about all of this labor fun i have to look forward to! he went to listen to her heartbeat and she kicked him and then started hiccuping. we definitely have a wild one on our hands! Ü
