p.s. i'm not doing my annual christmas cd giveaway this year. i know all two of you were totally excited about that, so sorry to disappoint! it will have to wait until 2012, things are a little crazy right now. but my fabulous friend kate is doing one over on her blog so you should definitely enter to win! she has impeccable taste, so i can't wait to see what her ultimate list is like.

i love these little summery-dressed girls running around the yard. one of them usually half naked.
every night they would beg to go water the flowers.
this usually ended up with piper soaking wet and stripping her clothes off. classy gang.
(PS. GUESS WHO IS 100% POTTY TRAINED NOW!? EASIEST KID IN THE WORLD.)
lots of bubble blowing and popsicles outside with grandpa rob.
and the bob! sophie got her hair chopped off and it was so perfect for the august heat.
and sadly, near the end of august, brookie had to leave us and go back to college. the girls were pretty much devastated and still say daily (4 months later), "mom, we really miss brookie." and we really do.
don't worry... we've seen her twice since. Ü
