the fourth

i'm a little overwhelmed at the amount of pictures i took on the fourth of july. but when your kid rides a four wheeler, horse, and giant water slide for the first time, all in the same day, there is a lot to shoot about.

it was so fun having our complete family together again after a year and a half. all the ellison kids back together again!

apparently we know how to work the fourth because our day looked a little like this:
*fourth of july neighborhood breakfast
*town parade and snow cones (we live in a tiny valley with fantastic camaraderie)
*bbq with friends who were the ones with the giant water slide down their front yard, a horse, a trampoline, and a four wheeler
*dinner with the fam including our, now annual, fourth of july fruit pizza
*sparlers with henry
*valley firework show

my girls pretty much adored uncle kyle and aunt allie. they are the best. sophie was a little confused why they were only here for a few days, and when she asked my mom where allie went my mom replied, "ummmm... she went to live with mike!"
