eagle crest

at the end of june landen had training with his new company for a week in eagle crest. it's a resort down in central oregon, so i decided to bring the girls with and have a little fun. they put us up in a 2 story condo which was so nice with kids. we got to know redmond on the cloudy days, and the pool on the sunny days.

some of the highlights included:
playing at the mcdonalds playplace for 2+ hours waiting for our condo to be ready (without landen) and also so i could be near a bathroom (i won't mention why that was necessary). jumping on all the beds. splash pad. pizza in redmond. hot tub. bbq-ing on the back deck overlooking the golf course. cars 2 in the theater (solo i might add... also not a good idea with 20-second-attention-span piper). wandering around the dollar store, filling our basket with every new toy we could find to keep us busy. kiddie pool. reading for hours in the sun. finally getting a tan after 4 years without one.

(sophie has since gotten a little bob haircut... sooo cute!)


























we actually just went back 2 weeks ago for more training over the weekend. that time it was just landen and i, thanks to my parents and auntie brookie for watching the girls. can i just say... laying by a pool and reading for 3 straight hours, 2 days in a row, might be complete heaven. it was nice to miss my girls while i was gone.
