my tiny little baby who isn't so teeny tiny anymore turned 2 on the 11th... and i'm so flippin behind! i really need to stop taking pictures or something so i can catch up. just kidding, i guess a move can do that to you.
enjoying her birthday cupcake at her "yellow party." what would i do without my P.

and now my attempt at catching up a little. APRIL people. i got to take a little trip with my girlfriends to the big apple. it was actually my first overnight from my kids, and much needed! thanks hubbies (and cannons for sharing your points!).
tamsen was our trusty driver.

street food. the word "halal" seemed to haunt us for the rest of the weekend.

our hotel was on 6th across from the MFA and just a couple blocks up from radio city, so this was one of our "home" landmarks.

mmm. still dreaming about those toffee peanut butter bars at magnolia's.

i didn't see rockefeller on my last trip so i finally got to see it all.

a little lego store action for tamsen's lego-lover at home. one lucky little boy got some star wars legos. Ü

then we took the nbc studio tour. i loved seeing the jimmy fallon and snl sets. now i can "visualize" it all when i watch.

time for a little shopping. anthro. h&m. we had too much fun in the daffy's basement. that's all i'm gonna say.

st. patrick's cathedral.

i finally got my lime sublime (and apparently $15 shorts). boston needs to get with the program. i may or may not have gone back later for a second. jamba that is.

after a little sprucing up (or collapsing on our beds) we hit the town again. i found this little joint in honor of my dad. the original virgil.

we had a hard time figuring out what show we wanted to see, but steph found some cheap front row seats to memphis. pretty sure we all got spit on we were so close. it was amazing. hands down #1 fav for all of us that weekend.

the next day was beautiful.

perfect for a little stroll through battery park. and my first time seeing lady liberty. my life is now complete. Ü (kidding)

can you find the fatty cues? Ü

it was a quick day and a half but so much fun to spend time with my girls before i left. thanks for such a fun girl's trip!! miss you guys... and new york.
