drampa rob

today's my dad's 50th birthday. (not to just throw it out there or anything, but it's a big lifetime marker dad). we did a little photo shoot a couple days ago for a little somethin' somethin' that we made him. (sorry if i'm ruining the surprise. you know patient is not a word in my vocabulary).

i really wanted both of the girls to sit on the curb and hold their signs up for me. easy enough right?

wrong.

not when you're trying to do it by yourself with a hyper-active one year old, and a three year old who is scared of "cars." they're very different. and i love their differences.

so most of our pictures look like this:

so we resorted to doing them separate.

this was in-between crying and bribes, can you see the puffy eyes?
Photobucket

and we had to set half pipe's sign on the ground because she was too distracted by picking grass to hold her's straight.

i'll show you the finished project after he gets it.

we love you dad. and as kyle says, i automatically win on all gift giving for having the only and *cutest* grandkids. not fair? after all their chaos... i say it's fair.

happy 50th dad!

I love that last photo. Especially how her arms are hanging.

Totally copying when Jackson gets to the point of being able to hold anything. Super cute!

Thank you Kristen, and Soph and Pipe for posing and getting paint on your hands. What a wonderful birthday gift for an old man. We still have the book on the kitchen counter and I start laughing every time I look at it.

I love you guys. Thank you Kri.
