i had an awesome birthday yesterday. thank you for all your calls/texts/emails/gifts... i feel completely spoiled and loved. the day started off with sun and the temperature gage in my car read 60! after that, i knew nothing could be bad, and it was even a monday (my least favorite day of the week)!
my cute friend jess (does that mean i'm part of the family if i call you that!?) brought me lunch. mmmm.
and we spent the rest of the morning at the park enjoying the beautiful weather.
i think she liked her first time on a swing!
and so did her little friend khloe...

and sophie always enjoys running free outside of our apartment.
sophie ran out of the bedroom yelling "i wrap a peasant mommy!" she was pretty excited to help open it too.
landen got me photoshop cs4 extended. don't worry... the much cheaper student version... he's not a dentist yet. i was so excited. piper was so excited she gave me one of her famous "kisses." they're my favorite kind.
i'm not much of a "cake" person... so i requested an ice cream cake. moose tracks did not disappoint. (notice what shape the candles are in?)
i always say no birthday is complete unless you get to blow out the candles. i think i got what i wished for.
the cutest little "just us" birthday party ever. sometimes all you need is just you and your family. and these are the best memories i will remember from boston.
{ended the day watching a movie in bed after landen ran to walgreens twice for meds for my sinus infection. bleh... hoping the antibiotics kick in soon}

yep, you are old. really wish i was there but i'm glad you still got nice weather, lunch and presents! that "cake" looks so delish. also, have you been sick a lot this winter? remember how you were always sick whenever you were in boston? (like, all the time?) hope you feel better soon.
oh, and i promise i'm still going to call. i hate our 3 hour time difference.

So glad you had a good birthday! Love those family ones. So sorry I wasn't able to get ahold of you again, let the phone tag continue! So glad 25 feels good--I remember thinking that. I came to the realization the other day that I will be 27 this year. 27 is closer to 30 than 20...30 is basically 40, and that doesn't feel good. Only kidding...well, mostly only kidding. :)
