three for me

wow, i guess i'm on a rhyming kick lately. being with kids all day will do crazy things to your mind.

happy three blogging years to me today!

feels good to have made it this far and to still be going strong. i love the amazingly talented friends i have made in the blog-o-sphere and all the ideas and encouragement i get from you! thanks for following our little family this long. i love having an outlet to write everything down and document things in pictures along the way.

what are we doing today on this big anniversary?

same old same old. which means...

trying to snap a few pics of my lil' valentine lovers. but guess who is kind of anti-obeying-what-mom-asks lately? i think the pictures speak for themselves.

we went to a valentine's party this morning, and when you have two girls valentine's day becomes your favorite holiday. it's more like valentine week for us. we finally get to put all that pink into action. so we express our love through pink shirts, pants, coats, shoes, socks, undies, bows, headbands, jewelry, blankets, and the list goes on...

Photobucket

a lot of bowling. don't tell me you don't think of bowling pins every time you look at those gerber's puffs containers. mmm hmmm. (and crystal light in our case)

we've also been doing a lot of baking and crafting. because what else do you do in the frigid winter when your husband is at school all night? obviously i haven't figured that out yet.

this was my stove the other day (baked potato soup, crusty bread and sugar cookies). we probably gained 15 pounds that night. not good... but good. see new recipes here.

Photobucket

bootie shakin... i mean makin. don't judge too harshly. i am so not a seamstress, and every time i sew something i think, "that really wasn't fun. i feel like making a bow." but i also discovered quick-drying fabric glue this week, so there is hope for my future. and baby feet make everything look good.

and i forgot to mention awhile ago, this girly is officially a potty-goin champ. after we got back from christmas she was all about it. how does she let me know? "i wah-na pee!"

thanks landen for capturing this.

we are just watching the olympic opening ceremonies, and landen just returned from a slurpee run for me. and that is how i know he loves me. what a lot of good things to look forward to... olympics, v-day, monday holiday.

here's to another fun year o' blogging!
