pretty excited that this guy was born 27 years ago today.
(ok so this was technically christmas, but we will shower him with gifts the same way today... without the ho ho ho wrapping paper.)
landen does everything for me, i don't know what i would do without him. wow, he sounds like my servant or something. not true. he does put up with my sarcasm though, so that should get him some points! i was having a rough night the other night (the winter is starting to play tricks with my mind... i gotta get out), and layed down on the bed for a "cat nap" - 2 hours later he came to bed with the house all clean and the dishes done and a note waiting for me the next morning. somehow he reads my mind every day and knows just what i need.
he is the best dad and i think he's sophie's best friend. but he's my best friend too, so we fight about it sometimes.
he is an amazing student and works and studies harder than anyone i know in graduate school with two kids and a needy wife. i love that about him.
he makes me laugh harder than anyone. probably because i'm with him the most when i'm past the point of sleep deprivation and i'll laugh at anything until i choke, but i like to think it's because we really are funny.
he watches the bachelor with me. 'nuff said.
he looks really good in his light jeans and a collared shirt and his chucks, even though he thought i made up the term "chucks" for his shoes because "chuck" wears them on the tv show. then again, he makes everything look good.
he listens to what i say--unless a commercial is on--and always gives the best presents.

we have some fun plans tonight that include a babysitter and not our girls. pretty excited about that last part, thanks g.
