these are a few...

of my favorite things.

i keep meaning to do this. i love getting ideas from friend's favorites so i thought i'd list a few of mine. plus, these are a few material things (of course people help the most!) that are helping us survive winter!

(in no particular order)

the boon spoon

Photobucket
(ours is pink of course)

props to whoever invented this. just squeeze the food right out and feed baby. take it on the go or store it in the fridge with no contamination. plus piper thinks the giant pink bulb is pretty amazing.

yogurt and granola

simple enough right? i couldn't figure out why i've never really loved yogurt before. i finally figured out i was just hooked up on yoplait. case solved: danon light & fit vanilla and raspberry. yum.

Photobucket

mixed with a little bear naked fit berry triple crunch. oh man, delish.

anthropologie syllabub apron

Photobucket
(a fab picture of me... i know)

landen surprised me with this apron for christmas. it's the perfect apron to add to my collection and i wear it practically every day. you could say it helps me feel a little more glamorous in the kitchen.

retail me not

Photobucket

oh i love this website. never again will i purchase something online without first checking for coupon codes here. and i do a lot of my shopping online.

bath and body works mentha lip balm stick

Photobucket

chapped lips at our house is not acceptable. this is magical stuff. creamy, soothing, and definitely worth the price.

johnson's baby lavender shampoo

Photobucket

this is kind of a no brainer, but honestly i can never get enough of this stuff. i want to bathe my girls in this every day just so i can smell them all day long. you could say we do a lot more "morning" baths because of this stuff. if you see me sniffing piper's head, you know why.

bare minerals

Photobucket

i had heard so many good things about this make up i had to try it myself. both of my sisters swear by it, and my clinique days felt like they were coming to an end. oh my. this make up is amazing. just like you'd think, it feels like it's barely there, yet i feel like my skin glows.

big sexy hair root pump

Photobucket

i wish i had big sexy hair. but i don't, and so far, i haven't found any other product that actually makes my hair feel less greasy or dead. love it.

williams sonoma spoonula

Photobucket

look it up. that's really what it's called. i love their silicone spoonulas so much. mine are actually yellow, they make my life happy and easier.

winter olympics

Photobucket

i almost forgot to add one of our all time favorite things. you can guarantee the olympics are on 24/7 at our house. loooove winter olympics, can't wait for it all... especially short track and snowboarding!

ok, that's enough for now. i'd just like to end on my favorite clip from a movie at the moment (500 days of summer). this brings a little sunshine into my life on these cold, grey days. i do feel like i should go put on a blue dress after watching this. angels in the outfield anyone?

thanks favorites, for keeping us moving through the long winter.

bare minerals - never tried it but i have heard such good things. does it cover up well? or do you still need some sort of cover up?

i got pink william's sonoma spatulas for our wedding and i LOVE them too. they really are the best!

and last, that video is great. we seriously just watched that the other night and both had a huge smile on our face during that whole part. i love it!

1. Where do you get those fabulous looking boon spoons??

2. I love your apron, but even more I LOVE the look on Kyle's face in the back ground. Oh how I miss the Ellisons!!!

3. So glad you've been converted to bare minerals. I'm convinced there is nothing better in all the world. :)

Love these! I'm going to have to try that Big Sexy Hair stuff for myself (we lank-haired girls have to stick together, after all). And that spoonula thing looks divine. Thanks for sharing.

I feel like I have been living in the dark ages. The only thing that I have ever used from your list is the lavender soap (but reluctantly gave it up when I heard that using an abundance of it will cause boys to grow breasts... I like to be scientific...but with all of these boys around here....). Thanks for keeping it fresh. Maybe you should conduct seminars.

Your clinique days are over? I was set for life but I have to try Bare M now. Are all their products worth it?
