i've been doing the
365 project
{where you take a picture every day for a year}. i'm actually printing my pictures and putting them into a book with journal entries {i'll have to show that later} and i'm pretty excited to see the end result. it will be a nice little journey from our everyday lives. i survived the first 2 months! this past week i decided to switch things up a bit. i picked the theme of, "things we can't live without." these were things strictly from this week, and mostly everyday posessions i could capture in a photograph. like obviously there is family, church, and a hundred other things. here's what we came up with...
yeah yeah... i know this is really 3-in-1

yep we made those "jesus loves me" rings for fhe with the cropadile. ;)

soph and i and curious george at 4:00 are addicted.

not having to buy diapers for like a month+ is a miracle

stabbing food took on a whole new meaning

i found this idea to use a kickboard in the bathtub {instead of the constant line-up of toys on the edge of the tub soaking the floor below, a big pet peeve of mine} so i found this garden knee board that did the trick

and last but not least {i think this is my new fav "real life" photo}

don't tell me you don't look like this picture exactly right now at your house. i love how it shows how we started {on the wall} to how we've become.
so after doing this week's project i realized that most of it comes from my perspective {and a huge chunk of sophie}. i decided i really needed to include landen on this one. i asked him if he took pictures for a week of things he couldn't live without what would his assortment look like. this was his immediate response:
"my belt"
and then he later added: "milk, the laptop, basketball shoes, chapstick, pickle grabber, shaver"
funny how we're all different. and i bet you'd like to see a picture of our pickle grabber wouldn't you?
and if you've read this far you're in trouble because i'm making this post
:: a TAG ::
i love seeing other people's things they can't live without. try taking pictures for a week... promise it's fun!
you're it: ashley, liz, allegra, kami, libby, krissi & jaclyn

All the pictures are adorable! I love the picture of you guys, so cute!
Ah dang, you're right. :) Actually, this will be a fun theme. You KNOW I'm always looking for new things to take pictures of!
hm, you're right. i do stalk your blog. i may or may not do this however. i don't think i have the energy, and my things i "just can't live without" are pretty darn boring. they consist of food, max, and food. lol i'm not creative enough to think of anything else. lol.
but i sure did like reading about your favorite things. and i LOVE the last pic of you guys on your comps. that's the normal scene at our house too. dan studying and working hard on his computer, me fiddling around, doing nothing on mine:) ah, i have it good:)
Fun stuff! I want to see a baby bump picture though!
i'm pretty sure in that first picture there are 4 things you can't live without, i.e. the famous cookies. oh, and what about cinnamon?
hmmmm...you know i have so many. let me think...
haha, yes, I stalk your blog. But only because you update more regularly than others and you have pictures of my sweet soph and you are super fun and creative...can you blame me? oh yes, and i have the computer next to my nursing chair which I occupy about 8 times a day, you don't want to know how often I check, it's embarassing.
OH, I CANNOT WAIT FOR TUBBIE TIME WITH MY SOPHIE!!!!!! Very cute idea, I just might have to try it! You know I LIVE for your blog!!! See you soon - YAY!
how do you know i stalk your blog? hehe. well now it's a ton easier because i can read it through google reader so i don't have to check for updates! :) i will try to think of the things i can't live without...i might just have to wait till we move out though cuz i feel like i don't do much these days hanging around the in-laws house! but, it is a fun challenge...i'm excited! hopefully my pictures will look okay :)
Such a cool post. I've been thinking of starting that 365 picture thing. I guess I could start in the middle of the year right?!
What a great idea! And you're right, Jeff and I look pretty much like you and Landen do in that picture - Jeff on his laptop and me on mine. What old married people we are!
