on video. hang in there, it's a little long, but somehow the pop-open book effect provided more entertainment to get through all 26 letters on video. and trust me, we are lucky to even have this! (*listen for the whispers*)
so we have been "hard drive" video camera shopping. it's a nice combination of both of our birthday presents... but still can't decide on one. does anyone out there have a favorite? yes we are totally over these short videos on our point and shoots, time for an upgrade thanks to baby #2 coming!
and note to self: sophie cried for both of us by name last night from her crib for the first time. (THIS NEVER HAPPENS!) it was a little bit of a rough night because she's been a little sickie. so when i heard, "dada? momma?" from the other room i thought i felt a tear run down my cheek! now if that doesn't pull on the heartstrings i don't know what does!
i love this name business lately. when she couldn't find me in the row of books at the library the other day she casually called out, "momma!? momma!? momma!?" down every row (leaning and tilting her head sideways to peek around) until she found me. yes i knew where she was the whole time... i just thought it was cute she was finally looking for me with a name! we have a connection!
