we're home.
ahhh, breathe.
feels good to finally be back in the swing of things, but it's that catch-up time from the aftermath of christmas and a trip to az that i'm still trying to figure out. and i really have SO much to catch up on!
mostly though, we just miss those blue skies and 70 degree days. you want to see what i mean right?
i'm 100% sold on winters in mesa, that is... if you can even call it "winter." now it's the summer thing i still need some convincing on.
some major highlights (and lowlights) from our trip i need catching-up on include (and you know there are pics to go with these):
- disneyland
- sophie getting the flu at disneyland
- soph playing with all her crazy aunts, and grandma & papa
- playing catch, jumping on the tramp, and watching planes fly over the backyard every day
- eating at all the places we miss from the west coast
- argyle day
- turtle races
- playing the wii
- watching movies
- stocking up at deseret book, i miss that store
- seeing lots of friends and new babies!
- new years at scott & becky's
- photo shoots for a couple families
- and of course having landen 100% to ourselves with no studying!
yes i have a lot to write about and catch up on, we just keep saying "back to the daily grind." i think i look forward to christmas break starting in january every year! thanks so much to all of our family for all the fun!
oh and how could we forget?
landen passed the boards!!
he even got a much higher score than he thought he did (not higher than i thought he would do though!) we are sooo proud of you babe! this is EXACTLY how we all feel right now...
and our last piece of news...
it's another girl!
i guess this is my hope for how my girls will be together...
we are so excited for sophie to have a sister! and mostly excited we get to use all of our girl things again in dental school. wahoo!

Sounds like a fun trip {aside from the flu of course}. My kids were asking about Disneyland yesterday. I'm amazed they have lived this long before knowing what it is.

congrats on everything! it was so fun to see you guys again...it had been way too long! we squeezed lemons and grapefruits yesterday and it really made me love AZ even more. the citrus is amazing here!
