stuck

i guess this is how it feels to be stuck in your house for 4 days straight. i was trying to explain to my friend the other day how bad soph's bedhead can get... living proof. she reminds me of an 80's rocker. oh and this is her new "cheese" face. looks kind of painful, i know.

ok so like two feet of snow later, we still haven't been outside after the long weekend. would you want to go out in that? (and no that's not our car scraped, ours is the one on the left you can't see because it's covered under a mountain of snow).



aren't you so sick of me talking about snow and indoor activities? ok here's one for ya.

LANDEN TAKES THE DENTAL BOARDS TOMORROW.

that's a huge reason we've been stuck inside as well. he's been studying non-stop the past few weeks and the time is finally here! tomorrow at 2pm we are celebrating! so say a little prayer for him. we get him all to ourselves for christmas, new years, and then during his 2 month apex following. we could not be more excited for a no-studying-daddy/husband! good luck babe!

and yes... we've already let the little rascal open 4 presents. what else are you going to do when you're bored stiff and stuck inside the weekend before christmas? don't worry, she still has like 53 left. so her second present was a book and i think the light bulb finally clicked for her. she chucked it and went for another present like, "oh i get it! there's toys in these things!" i'm surprised she hasn't attacked more! then tonight for fhe we told her she was in charge of the activity. so she went over to the tree and brought us a present to open. smart girl! she got a cute little hoodie from my dad and marched around in it hooded and all. quite proud i'd say... good pick dad! practice makes perfect right? christmas morning here we come!

ps... the dog's name is no longer barkers. just bob.
