so i promise i actually have my own family. i don't just take pictures of other people for fun... i kinda like the ones that are mine too. i started editing a handful of pictures from florida tonight so i could post about our trip and then this guy walked in the back door...
two words. church basketball
why are those guys so brutal to each other? landen got beat up by two of the guys and his forehead skin got smeared across one of those ugly church accordian curtains. you know the ones. the eyesores of our church. he kind of came in half laughing to himself because i guess it was quite the match between him and the beige beast. then of course one of our friends made fun of him because "his wife was going to want to take his picture to blog about it." ummm hello? nothing exciting happens in this little town in massachusetts. {and no, the world series, nba finals, and superbowl in one year are not exciting} so when someone walks into my house with war wounds you bet i'm going to share! poor guy. i'm going to go be a good wife and refill his bag of ice. i guess this is just back-up in case anyone thinks he has an abusive home life.
on the sophie front...
she's totally in love.
her and mr. calvin ran around our house tonight squealing and giggling like two little infatuated lovebirds. yes that's calvin's arm propped around her, and them giving smooches behind their "bops" while watching tarzan. they have a "hers" and "his" kind of a deal going on. later they swapped spit on her red recorder. ahhh, young love.
oh and did i mention both sides have an all out bawl fest every time we leave each other? sophie cried for 15 minutes after they left. all the while calvin calling "showf" "showf." tragic.maybe tomorrow i'll get to those pictures.

That is SOOO funny. . . not Landen, that's sad, but Sophie and Calvin. I think Hyrum needs a little girl friend. He doesn't really know what to do when we're around other kids, because he's used to being the lone wonder.
ooohh sad. hope your head feels okay landen! you make really good sad faces though. and sophie and calvin are so cute! you'd never guess they're not 16! (they just look so mature together, hehe).

Gosh that sore that Landen got looks painful. Yeah church basketball is suppose to be calm and nice but it isn't. Plus boys are mean and show no sympothy. I love that last picture of Sophie and Calvin it so stinkin cute. Jack needs a woman in his life. Its just too bad that there isn't any girls around for him to have.
Poor Landen. Okay and Soph and Calvin are too cute. That totally made me laugh. I can't wait to see your pictures from your Florida trip! I hope you guys had so much fun...wish I had been there!
Dang Soph. Going for the older dudes already huh? That is awesome that they've developed such a bond at such a young age. That is pretty unheard of. Boston and Payton are finally starting to accept one another as people. We're a long way from cuddling and smooching. I guess Calvin is just a smooth operator.
Sorry about Lando's head. Those beige beasts are relentless!
It's good for Landen to get a few battle wounds! Toughen that boy up! :) Sophie's quicker than Roo with the boys. There's a cute kid in nursery that says she's his girlfriend, but she doesn't have a clue what he's talking about!

my dad is so excited to start taking carter to disneyland.

and then they got a grandchild, and it started all over again! lol
it seems like not too long ago that we were all in our matching outfits and running around.
