sophie got her first cold on tuesday and i joined right in with her... again. i actually liked being sick together this time rather than just me being sick. this way we could both sleep in and feel bad for each other- ha. i wipe her nose she wipes mine kind of a deal. soph has been super content to just sit in the lovesac and "read" her book. or her new game: "try to pull off my socks the minute mom puts them on me." good one.
ok so even though we haven't been 100% around here... i can't help but love this season for so many reasons! and the number one reason: the baking. (well, i think i have like 13 number one reasons, but tonight this is my number one). is it just me or is it so much more enjoyable to bake for a holiday? you've got built in colors you can just go with. and the theme this month just happens to be chocolate=black and whatever else i want=orange. it's perfect! so lets all say a little prayer that the tutts don't gain 20 this holiday season.

kristen that picture of sophie reading is just about the cutest picture i have ever seen!! does she seriously look at the book like that? how precious - i hope my baby likes to read!! and don't worry - i love baking at the holidays too...there are so many yummy things to make...it's all i can do to stop myself from eating tons and tons of sweets! so maybe we'll all just gain 20 pounds, haha.

haha...i am the same way. maybe the evans and tutts just hang out together so we won't care that we are all fat. then we can just enjoy the eating!
