baby shower

yes it was finally baby shower time... which scares me because that means i'm getting close to having this baby! less than 2 months away! my sister in law sarah did a great job doing my baby shower for me- she is always super cute with everything she does! i'm so lucky to have the best sisters in law! i also have so many sweet friends that gave us such cute things! we are just going to have the cutest dressed little girl! thanks everyone!

we played this funny game my friend lori came up with. there were different candy bars mashed up in diapers so you couldn't tell what they were... and you know what they really looked like! so we had to pass the diapers around and write down what we thought they were, if only you could see everyone sniffing chocolate in diapers- it was pretty entertaining!

we babysat our friend's kids this weekend as well in draper. it was a lot of work but they were really good kids and fun to play with! kind of gave us a little heads up on parenting before we have our own baby! but we are just happy they only come one at a time... or you hope they do! Ü my sister in law amy played with us friday night while she babysat our neice ruthie. i just have to say we have the cutest neice ever, hands down, she is going to be a hard one to compete with!

we also finished our baby class thursday night which was so helpful! i feel like i'm a little bit more ready for this whole "hospital/labor" experience. we went on a tour at the end of the class and i got a big whiff of "hospital room" smell... which is what i have such a problem with, then again i don't know who really loves that smell! after the tour we watched labor videos and really... i think landen was a little surprised they show the actual full labor..haha. he couldn't stop laughing, and i assured him he would not be doing that while i was in labor!
