i know i know

so january went by in literally one blink. that was the first month in five years that i didn't make a post. woah. i must've been busy.

moving went super well. we had tons of help from my family (THANK YOU!!) and even got my kitchen put away the first night. check. it's basically been unpacking/decorating/project zone for the past 31 days. i feel like it might be this way for the next 31 days and the 31 days after that... but we will get there! can you tell the girls love the new house?

usually i'm not very fond of january. probably my least favorite month. but i'm wondering if that's because i was living in frigid boston with tiny crazy people who lived in a crazy tiny space. either way... i'm really loving it this year (minus the whole getting my wisdom teeth out thing of course). we have space. we have 53 degree weather. we have sunshine. we have ridden bikes outside in the driveway for the past 5 days STRAIGHT. we have family to hang with when dad is gone at night. and i actually have the energy every day to do something with my kids and play with them and craft with them and just be with them. i'm loving it. which of course means the blog gets ignored... but for good reason i'd say. and hello? i have an almost 5-year-old and an almost 3-year-old. what is happening? these are some cool little people to hang out with.

oh and we got to take pictures of our new favorite baby girl today. love her. thanks "wiz."

february at our house means birthdays and valentines day and a visit from allie and of course more projects. maybe i will share some soon...

Oh, I just absolutely love unpacking....bazinga! I finally finished unpacking a couple months ago. (2 1/2 years) I know, I rock.
So exciting to have your own house. It is even fun to clean it for like almost the whole first year. :-) Guess what, it was 50 degrees here yesterday too. crazy!

Yes, I am all about living somewhere that isn't cold. Yesterday it was about 50 degrees and H kept putting her hand over her face and saying "Co! Co!" when we were going to and from church. Ha! She has no idea what real cold is.
