my baby turned f o u r yesterday and she's been saying, "mom, i'm just so old!" she's right. she's just so old now. i'll post her birthday pics soon (soon is a relative word for me). i'm also loading my house in 2 days on to a truck to drive everything 3000 miles away. so, we'll see.

but in the meantime i have dance pics to share. her and abby got all dressed up for their class pictures a few weeks ago and even got to put some make-up on. they were in little princess heaven!

this picture makes me sad for the realization that's coming to these two, when they realize they really won't see each other every week.

sophie saw me editing this picture and said, "mom, that's my abby." rip my heart out.

and we can't forget little sister who was right there dancing with them all year.

since when did i have a FOUR year old!?

we're going to miss the recital next month, but dance has been one of the best things for sophie this year. she made lots of little friends and of course got an extra dose of abby every week. she needed something to help her come out of her shell (she's soo shy). i just can't believe it's over already!
and i have a video if my internet would stop being so slow.

she's the most adorable ballerina ever.
as for leaving dental school, I'm pretty sure she can't conjure up as many tears as I did. I was a COMPLETE. MESS. Good luck. :)
My eyes just teared up, what are we going to do. We might just have to join you in Oregon in a year.
yes T!
Your girls are so cute Kristen!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's getting a bit choked up about leaving this place. I'll miss seeing both those cute faces in church each Sunday. I'm crossing my fingers that Soph eases into West coast life without too much trouble. She's such a sweetie.
ack! you're moving!!! since the day we packed the truck to leave boston was just about the worst day of my life {not for sentimental reasons, more for the pouring rain and general suckiness of loading the truck...} here's a tip: make sure you tie stuff down really really good. on our way in to boston we didn't really pack the truck very well, so when we were packing to leave bruce made sure that he tied each layer in place. major pain, but nothing had budged out of place by the time we got to utah. and if you look at the abf trucks {i don't know if that's the route you're taking, but i was in no mood to deal with a huge truck all the way across the country and at 4.50/gallon it was an easy decision} the front part rides higher than the back so that doesn't exactly help them keep from falling over backwards. so i hope your day turns out better than ours!
Hey Kristen! the girls are so big and cute! If y'all end up driving through Des Moines, IA, and need a place to take a break and rest/play/eat, we'd love to have you guys anytime! (Blog/fb me back if you think you may wanna!)
