soph started dance today. ahem... "mini moves." completely adorable. it's ballet, tap and creative movement so she gets a little taste of everything. and mom gets to buy two pairs of dance shoes. it's an investment in her dance career future right?

she's been talking about it for weeks. something like, "a go to dance with abby. i a ballerina. and wear my clicky clicky shoes. and spinning. i cinderella." can you feel the excitement?

there's no preschool this year. too many different schedules with the gang from last year, so dance was the next best thing. alphabet... spinning? oh well. at least she's got moves. and energy to burn.

and as if our house wasn't screaming GIRLINESS already, i'm pretty sure we just added to it.

waiting to go in with abs.

and of course ben and piper are our groupies for the year.

the verdict?
she loved it. loved it. talked about it for the rest of the day. her favorite thing? jumping jacks. too bad i don't have the same effect when i try that one at home.
remember this post about soph? well it's been all uphill since. i feel like we are on this crazy roller coaster that constantly just goes up and down. i guess that's just raising kids though right?
i like her these days. a lot.

she's the best helper. gets so excited when pipey wakes up. just wants to "snuggle in mommy's covers." is a serious singer. especially if it's taylor swift in the car. loves everything purple. is completely obsessed with all things "princess" (dang, i thought maybe we could skip that one). is a pretty picky eater. remembers every little detail (like how we went on a date once to the pet store and when we pulled up to the mall the other day asks, "mom! we on a date to the pet store!?"). loves going on dates with mom or dad and "no pipey."

a few sophieisms... (adding when i think of more)
"i miss you much"
"jussa minute mom"
"i a princess, you the beast"
"i sleeped good!"
"i just so full" (when she's referring to being hungry)
"mom i have a feber" (fever)
love my little dancing queen.

So cute! I love the skirt! And its great to hear that things are better with Sophie, and she is really helpful.
yay soph! add it to the list for why i need a girl.
Oh, I love my dancing queen! We've got to come visit! And that Pipey...just being so patient watching!
Sophie's looking sooo much older! We're doing the same thing with Hyrum. . . except the boy version. Sports this year and preschool next year. I'm excited to see all the cute dancing pictures
Wow, I can't believe we've entered the realm of dancing! And when did Sophie start looking so old? Oh, and move over Liz and Jill, I am now the #1 commenter on the Blog!
