my big girl turned three yesterday. i don't even really know how i feel about it yet, except that we finally made it through the terrible twos! although so far... no difference. maybe three is harder?
she is still our sweet girl, and loves the color purple. only appropriate to take a picture in front of a purple argyle wall right!?
we are in mesa right now, so she got to celebrate with a whole bunch of family yesterday. she had a whole choir singing "happy birthday" to her. she's trying to get down the finger thing. three is hard!
sophie is my best helper. she wants to be doing anything mom is doing, including baking/laundry/shopping/crafting/exercising/dishes... you name it, and sophie is next to me doing it. she loves tinkerbell, purple, movies, the park, the beach, friends, pipey, preschool, nursery, i-spy, making cookies, cottage cheese, anything chocolate, and now officially cousins!
the only thing she wanted for her birthday was a purple heart cake! no presents, just cake. we tried not to disappoint.

happy birthday soph! it's the first one we've missed (besides the actual birth day, i guess!) wish we could have been there. at least we are actually on the same time zone right now.
