if you want to see a cute little posed piper go here. this post is not that way. this post is the nitty gritty pipe. case in point.

you know how you stick your palm against your mouth and hit it back and forth to make the noise, "wah-wah-wah-wah-wah" like an indian? that's what she's doing. only she does it with the back of her fist or the bottom of her bottle flipped upside down. all. day. long.
my baby is ten months today. i think ten might be harder than her turning one. because now we're in the double digits folks. i just realized i had the same title here.
she is officially over headbands. every time i try to put one on her they are immediately down around her neck. i had to make her a bunch of bitty clips for the "fuzz" she does have. she has a better chance of hanging herself with the noose than finding the tiny clip and choking on it. most of the pictures just look like this.

and i love this one, because this is truly piper. she has the squat mastered with the tongue hanging out. up and down all day. she's kind of like our little puppy. only she smells nice and doesn't shed.

totally surprised she's not diving off the chair. she figured out how to climb up in the lovesac, turn around and crawl out wheelbarrow style on her hands. the only problem is, now she thinks she can do that on every piece of bigger furniture.

and our happy baby. people always comment on how chill and content she seems to be. i hope all subsequent babies in our family are pipers in the "baby" stage. (still waiting on those top teeth)

piper loves:
following sophie everywhere
snuggling her head into anything
bananas
saying "dada" or "baba" (still waiting for "mama")
dancing in the car with sophie
people watching
music (she's got a constant dancin' beat going)
