friends

i went to look at the pictures i took while my dad was here, and realized that out of the five, only one wasn't blurry (thanks to a certain toddler usually moving). so here we have it, a once in a lifetime photo op:

sophie falling asleep in someone's arms.

Photobucket

i guess my dad ran her dry, and i assure you this will never happen again. then again, she is starting to phase naps out once or twice a week. is this where the random falling asleeps start happening?

we loved having drampa rob here, he is so easy going and is the best entertainer for the girls (and us!). we visited the mapparium downtown boston. it's this cool glass globe that you stand in and sound travels like crazy inside. you can hear people whispering right in your ear from the opposite end. we were all very easily amused.

Photobucket
(internet pic... i couldn't use my camera inside)

you know we took a trip to red robin, watched lots of tinkerbell, read i-spy, and enjoyed our sunday together. so nice having dad around to walk the halls with piper at church! *wink wink* now if she could only figure out the falling asleep thing like sophie. hmmmm... come back soon drampa rob!

we've also been babysitting central around here. i probably have a sign taped to my back that says "i'm always available at home with my kids, call me if you have a life and need me to watch yours." no really, it's been so nice having sophie entertained by all the visitors. and they are all super chill, easy kids! we watched this little lady for a couple nights/days while her mama was having new baby sister.

we always die over her cuteness. (i have to take other kid's pictures when mine are so immune to me taking theirs that they won't look at the camera anymore).

and this little girly was born on the same day as piper. they are probably kindred spirits, even if piper is like double her size.

Photobucket

i just love their matching eyes.

Photobucket

and at least they will look at me when i make silly dolphin noises.

Photobucket

awww, my baby will be eight months next week!

and this guy today, he is the happiest kid i know. i think he was singing or talking the whole time he was here.

Photobucket

sophie had to wear her beanie when she saw his.

Photobucket

singin.

Photobucket

and we have more girlies coming in the morning! guess we'll have to play some more...be prepared jen.

i made this little button thing for pipe and it's her new favorite toy. that is until sophie brought it to me tonight with a button pulled off...nevermind on that choking hazard. i really did love the time it bought me. not that piper ever needs time bought from me.

Photobucket

so i reformatted my computer while my dad was here. cleaned everything out. that feels so good. i decided to download the trial version of cs4 while i wait for my mom to send me the newer version of photoshop elements. oh my. where have i been? i don't think i can go back. i told landen we're in trouble. you know what i'll be doing the next 30 days.

and just because i love her guts.

Photobucket

(don't you love the rush of trying to take pictures of a tipsy baby on top of a tall bar stool chair? hehe...)

funny that you mention all the babysitting you have been doing since we were thinking about going to the temple this weekend...and leaving em with you. But now she has a mysterious fever and I don't want to contaminate your kiddos! I do want to see you guys soon though, Thanksgiving was a long time ago!
