just a little picture update on december happenings around our house.
sophie got her first big girl hair cut (from a professional... me cutting the mullet off in the bathtub doesn't count). she was so excited all night that "jamie {was} tumming" to cut her hair with scissors, "snip-snip." she sat super still and smiled at me the whole time saying, "i good girl." yes she was!

little p's on the move!

whether it's in the johnny...

or a rollin'...
{this is the first time i walked into the room and she wasn't on her blanket! i freaked because she started in the middle of it, then realized she was over by the door! here we go!}

messing up folded piles of clothes with her rollin' skills...

{ooo... side story. see that red blanket? it's huge, folded in half, and the other side says boston university. we won it in the raffle the other night at landen's school christmas party. there were hundreds of people there and we won one of the 5 raffle prizes! too bad the next two prizes were a wii and an ipod. dang. i still feel like a winner though)
or doing a little "stunting" with dad {i knew one of my daughters would aquire some cheerleading skills...hehe} she's definitely moving!
i love her little legs and perchy bum in this picture. oh and her cute little unsure face!

morning movies in mom's bed {aka: time for kristen to get a shower}

gearing up for the cold, and it's cold here! it felt like 16 degrees the other day, brrrr. we are getting the bundling thing down. yet another reason to not live in new england.
{notice the thumbs... they don't usually make it into the holes}

i found this picture on my camera, smirky smile.

i always call piper "little p" so i taught sophie how to say "hey little p!" it sounds more like "hey ya p" but it's my favorite. then she goes, "p-piper, s-sophie, m-mommy, d-daddy!" what a smart child. oh and she can officially answer, "where do you live?" "boston!" we chose that over mass-a-chu-setts. ha.
and best of all...
she sits!

still a little topsy but it gets longer every day. i think the record today was like 2 minutes! wohoo!

babies look so old once they can sit, slow down little p!
