finally.

i'm stressing myself out with all this photo catch-up i have to do. too many fun things!
halloween this year was awesome. mostly because i didn't have to put any effort into it and it was still fun. (wow i'm lazy). last year i brought home my little sister's bumble bee costume from when she was little, so sophie went vintage bee this year and loved every minute of stinging piper the flower, who's outfit was $8 at wal-mart and caused her no pain. those are the costumes that i like.
so i give you... the flower and the bee.

(you will notice sophie's buck teeth throughout this post. the thumb sucking, while she sleeps, is going strong. hoping to break that habit soon, she has a lip trap that is driving the dental student in the house crazy)

the sting

and stinger

she wouldn't wear the wings i made her (ok so there was like 5 minutes of effort with some cardstock and the glue gun) but she was still pretty cute.

and no she doesn't have bangs... it's the whispies in the wind
best little flower on the block

we had amazing weather on halloween (no coats!) so we went up to beacon hill for trick-or-treating and played with some friends. by far my most favorite halloween (other than our halloween dance party we threw in college that everyone showed up to) for the aura that is on those streets. so fun. everyone decks their door fronts out and sits on the little steps handing out candy. so glad we got to do that while in boston.

not the best pics but it gives you an idea

a nice old lady wanted to take our picture, good thing i never have high hopes for those ones.

soph was the best trooper. she walked the entire way from the car at the public gardens, up and down the hills, and i think she stopped at almost every door to get candy. that was definitely her favorite part, she was determined not to miss one!

we wore them out, and still have the hoards of candy to prove it.

she totally got the "tandy" thing this year.

what's that little white table? i know, see, i'm totally looking in the background. i can't help it. also, i am loving scarves right now. it's kinda like the earring thing.
Are you kidding me? 5 days and less than 5 accidents, amazing. What about at night?
SO cute! I love their costumes :) They are so adorable!
Adorable little bumblebee costume! I love how it poofs out at the bottom. :)
my favorite part is the fact that soph has little mini converse shoes. ahhhh. i love it.
