sophie had her first day of preschool today. she was finally up for a little modeling session {she's up for anything if i take her "outshide" and she gets to put on a "jah-et"}. we started a little 2-yr old preschool once a week with 3 other 2 year olds from church. it will be really good for her to work on those social skills!
showing me her "tail" as she calls her braid.

we needed a traditional "backpack pose." notice she decided she absolutely did not want to wear it (even though she begs me to put it on her every day).

she has a little bit of her spazzy dad in her. ok, her mom too.

and on the bottom? this is about the 7th pair of shoes we have bought that finally fit her. anyone have any good shoe suggestions for a toddler that has wide, thick feet? we are having a hard time finding anything. good ol' converse seem to do the trick. and she thinks the blue is "tool" (cool).

You must shop at Target... hahaha, Avry just got that same jacket yesterday after completely vetoing the lovely red one with a hood right next to it. Sigh. It sure looks cute though.
That "jah-et" is DARLING! Well chosen.
ca-ute shoes! love them! thanks for the link to that etsy store, her patterns are adorable!
she is one cute girl! i love the little shoes. i am dying for max to fit into his black converse we got for him before he was even born! he also has a navy blue pair too and i am like...come on feet, grow! they are just too darn cute.
O Sophie is getting so big. And is totally adorable as of course is her sister, they are both beautiful. And the shoes are super fun!!
wish we were part of it!!!
Me too Liz!!! I miss you all. What size shoe is she wearing now, Grandma's got to shop!!! :)
I love how stylish she gets to be on her first day of school....and the rest of us were in neon colored shirts, with side ponytails and acid-washed jeans, oh yeah with Keds slip-ons and maybe even one of those cool plastic ring things you put on the lower side of your shirt and pulled your shirt threw the holes. Yeah that was cool! Haha I just wonder what our kids are going to think about their clothes of today in 15 years. Your girls are too darling!
i'm glad you liked the cheesy breadsticks. I too have to keep myself (and hubby) from eating the whole pan. hehe. i would love if you shared it on your recipe blog! feel free to share any of them! :D
Stride Rite Extra Wides. Caden has logs for feet and these fit him perfectly (they also have just regular wides).
She is adorable!! I love the shoes!!
What a cute BIG girl! And A+ student too.
My boys have boxy feet. Stride Rite has good shoes for chubby feet. Sometimes you can find them at Marshalls or TJ Maxx. But I don't think I have seen anything as cute as those little blue numbers.
