a little l-o-v-e

these little babies are what i've been addicted to lately. oh and those that know me too well and are worried/wondering... i still hate cinnamon. but cinnamon candy is very and completely different than the spice cinnamon. obviously... there are only 5 left. and due to holiday candy always hitting the shelves like a month sooner than necessary, i always get into the next holiday like a month sooner than necessary. thank you sugar.

so...

i keep seeing all these cute things to make for valentines day and just thought i'd share. we always do something "homemade" for valentines day (which i heart) considering landen's birthday is 9 days before and mine is 22 days after. it's a nice little love right in the middle.

• here are some super cute valentine coupons from the new house of three collaboration.
• not that i'm into wearing felt pins but you could definitely make these cute valentine pins into a cute mobile like the one from pottery barn. {spotted on ali's blog}. that would be one of those good "sitting in front of the tv" projects at night.
• speaking of ali, this little love book is still one of my fav's that i made last year.
• and there always has to be a martha tribute right? these are some of my favs...
• cute little hanging candy holders .
• here's a fun little downloadable valentine wheel. something silly to give.
• these wax hearts might actually be our project of the day today.
• my favorite simple valentines for kids are still these heart-and-lollipop flowers. so sophie {notice the top orange flower}.

• ok enough of martha. if i could actually knit (liz you should try this) i would definitely be making this for my valentine! ;)

• i think i'll be making some of these adorable chocolate tins from schlosser designs as well. and they give you all the pdf's to print off on get this... mailing labels. genius! wow i have a lot to get started on! i better have a party or something. but seriously, this is so much cuter than an actual box of chocolates!
• these candles would be so easy and cute as a centerpiece or decoration. i also love the heart garland, not just plain old construction paper but fabric too. and a must for kids' artwork cards to the grandparents. thanks bhg.

and a little project soph and i worked on today {more to come}

we had a weird morning. sophie went to bed last night at 7:30 and didn't wake up today until 11:30. 16 HOURS people. i didn't wake up until 10:20 and started worrying something was wrong. nope, nothing wrong. sound asleep as ever. AND she woke up happy. after 16 hours of sleep though i think i'd be happy too. days like this make me wish we had some kind of "i know when your body will wake up" clock to let us know when our kids will wake up. think of how much more you could plan and get done if you knew how long they were going to sleep for! i'll work on that...

landen just snuck off on a secret trip to the grocery store. i wonder what he's up to...
