i'm so happy it's october. second best fallish month after september. especially days like today when you can have non-apple-picking-new-england-adventures with your buddies.we started the day with some new pigs! so exciting. she still has a nice shelf of hair on top/sides that don't quite fit in yet, but we're making progress.
play group this morning was to go "apple picking." so liz and i loaded up the kids and headed down to the apple farm. is that what you call it? turns out we are too cheap and lazy to buy or pick our own apples so we found a nice pumpkin patch to play in instead. plus you know we were instantly thinking "photo op!" {we missed you jen!}
sophie and calvin had to test out the waters in this new territory. some days i feel like we have dogs marking their spots. and you know what i mean. sophie was pretty excited with the pumpkins. and calvin...
ahhh don't you love these colors? i really was in heaven!
oh did you blink? that was the one look into the camera i got from sophie all day!

watching the goats.

and this is what our kids "in action" look like...

{we gave him a buzz... and i'm so glad he's such a cute kid or i could have been dead meat}

oh look i'm in a picture! thanks cherisa! looks like sophie and i are about 5 foot 3!
so after our non-apple-picking-adventure we went on a google-maps-is-destined-to-always-give-kristen-the-same-named-stree-in-a-different-town-destination-adventure. took us quite awhile to find the stupid abington target. but we were so glad we found it!

{but mostly i think they were just happy it was 2:30 and still hadn't been put down for a nap. plus they both got a $1 bin book. what more could a kid ask for?}

FUN!! I'm so sad I was at the doc instead....that's just lame :( The pics are awesome Kri
OMG you have the most amazing pics ever. How do you do it? Is it your camera or do you have a photoworkshop?
what. a. day. thanks for "adventuring" with us and getting us lost because it turned out to be really fun. haha. oh-and i'm in love with the abington target. for real, though, thanks for helping get out of that funky mood! i really needed it. oh, and don't be surprised to see some of these on my blog, too;)

So you finally made it to Target! Now you just need to go to the Abington Walmart, its the best one {besides plymouth} definitely. And those are some serious pumpkins! I miss those apple/pumpkin patch places...Oh, and yesterday I was uploading the pics you took of us onto my blog {thanks again btw} and Ez saw them and started to cry about missing Boston! *sigh*
cute cute piggies!! all those colors make me miss boston. i should just stop reading your blog, it's making me too homesick:)
by the way kristin, the html is easy. just upload to flickr or photobucket. they'll give you a code and just copy and paste it onto your blog...like in the text part as if you were writing a blog post. it should show up when you post or click "preview."
Great pictures, Kristen. A real pumpkin patch! And with model children to augment it all. Don't you just love the variously colored pumpkins that are available? (I was inspired by Martha--Stewart, that is--and decorated my small porch with some green ones.)
I miss you, especially at this, the most wonderful time of the year. Have fun (and look for some pretty leaves :)).
