it was a long, indoor conference weekend for us. i started getting some sick thing friday night and then decided to lock myself inside and get some stuff done in my may day shoppe. which was quite successful. but on the other end of things, sophie learned how to give us the
**meanest**
looks we've ever seen. hopefully this didn't come from us! and hopefully she'll get over the whole "not going outside for two days" thing. i guess it made her a little stir crazy!
{and yes... i realize all of these are pretty shotty pics, especially after the pumpkin ones, but sometimes you have to forego everything you ever knew about photography to capture that no-flash-indoor-moment... if you know what i mean!}

well we did make it outside on saturday morning for about an hour. there is this tiny diner across the street from us that we have never been to. i always thought it looked a little sketch, and am sorry to say i usually stick to chain restaurants, but landen has been dying to go so we decided it was a good tradition to start before our late-starting boston conference. cutest place ever. it was so little town feeling inside and the breakfast food was AWESOME. we'll definitely be going back. especially because it takes about a minute to walk there!
then this morning we needed a good activity to hold sophie over before conference started. i now am grateful that we get out of the house for 3 hours every sunday, even if it's just to go to church, for my toddler's sake!
fort building it was...
{and no my feet aren't bigger than landen's. just closer and pointed more upward. thank you very much. another example of how NOT to take a picture. too high on my ISO and aperture, for those of you who care}

I have got to get to a pumpkin patch! Those were some great pictures! Especially the kids holding hands in the car. Sophie has definately mastered that glare, how lucky for you.
