i'm not kidding. i've had that stupid mister roger's song stuck in my head all day. every time i see the sun i now think of that stupid zip-up sweater. ok it's not that bad. but it's beautiful day numero dos or tres... wow i can't even remember! that's how good it is! i had to take advantage again {promise to post the pics from yesterday soon} and go for a little stroll with soph. i've taken lots of walks since we moved here, but i've never just started at my own apartment and walked around my neighborhood. honestly, not really a "walker-friendly" place with home depot next door, the freeway a block over, and the miscellaneous auto body shops everywhere. but i decided what the heck- we need to break the ice.
we headed down to the bank and then over to good ol' 7-11 for a big icey diet coke. and what did we find on our walk home? not
one park but
TWO! they were across the street from each other, but i never knew we had a little hidden treasure only a few minutes away. so happy about that.

so the sucker is from the bank, the straw is from 7-11 and the raquet ball? she carried that thing around for two hours and didn't drop it once {along with the sucker and the straw}. am i going to have a little hoarder on my hands!? it was still pretty cute...
she was concentrating pretty hard on the guy playing basketball. look at that expression.

i love how she's still holding onto all those things, even while swinging! it's so cute.
Oh, Grandma's girl is growing up! Suckers, straws and racquetballs! Next it will be candy bars, slurpees and boys to play racquetball with!!
