kick back

i was talking to my mom today and these were her exact words, "i live by the blog." of course not in any obsessive way (well maybe) but just meaning she never gets to see us so luckily there is the internet and lots of pictures! it actually made me sad and got me thinking how i don't get to see my fam very often. of course i wish soph could play with them and know them better, but that's the life of a student right? so more updates for mom. :) had to post the crocs above... they are the perfect kick back shoes for this (after madness weekend) kick back week.

this was sophie waving to landen as he left for mutual tonight. she saw him go out the door and crawled over to wave, hit the glass and say "dadadada." look close... you can see landen waving to her. priceless.
also priceless is the "just woke up" expression and bed head.

one of sophie's favorite pastimes these days is hitting the glass on the washer as the clothes go around and around and around...

liz and calvin hit up the park with us this afternoon. it was a balmy 39 degrees but the sun was out and we were trying to welcome spring! it was sophie's first time in a swing, and although that beanie makes her look amish {or something} she loved it! kicking her feet when i pushed her higher.

i love this pic. liz says "teeth" and calvin shows them off! sophie looks up to her older, more mature friend. so cute.

what a cute slider... i think she's gonna like this park stuff this summer!

and i keep spacing to post these. check out the bubbles!

her newfound clapping skills. soph was a little sick of clapping at this point but we get a few out of her! don't listen to how stupid landen and i sound...

soph doesn't like to put her bare legs on the cold tile. she came up with this little number saved especially for the kitchen and bathroom...

The picture with Landen waving in the back ground is HILARIOUS! I'm sitting at work laughing. And I love Sophie's army crawl on the cold floor. She's a genius!! :)

That cold floor crawl is hard to do, ever done it?! By the looks of her on her feet at play group, she'll be running across that floor in no time. Go Soph!
