one year older and wiser too...

well we made it to the big 2 years today. i now think we can survive the rest of life together. i'll admit- it's been the best two years i've been through. even after having a baby i'm still loving life! short and simple- landen is the best. i'm just sitting here waiting for landen to finish his talk for church tomorrow because i already finished mine...hehe. we had a good "anniversary day." i made crepes this morning thanks to my sis-in-law krissi! they were yummy! and then while landen studied, soph and i hung out in the kitchen and made some homemade salsa... so yummy! i think we are addicted! soph had kind of a rough day though. she didn't want to sleep or eat much... just fuss and have me hold her. i'm fine with all the snuggles i just hope she isn't getting sick (teething maybe?) our friends watched sophie while landen took me on a little "surprise date." it was so fun to just be together for a little while! (thanks chris & gretchen!) we went out to marina bay and ate on the dock overlooking the city and all the sailboats... gotta love the atmosphere here in new england. the food honestly wasn't very good, but the view made up for it... and so did dessert at applebee's. ok we are not obsessed with food but their blondie is amazingly delicious.
